Hutchinson River Parkway Lane Closures Scheduled

Motorists planning on traveling on the Hutchinson River Parkway in southern Westchester County this week may experience delays as lane closures are scheduled to allow contracting crews to complete construction activities in Pelham and Mount Vernon.

The New York State Department of Transportation issued an alert cautioning motorists that the southbound right lane on the Hutchinson River Parkway between Exit 12 (East Lincoln Avenue) and Exit 8 (Sanford Boulevard) is expected to be closed from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly, beginning Wednesday, February 14, through Friday, February 16.

Motorists can expect delays and have been warned to seek alternate routes. There will be signage and flaggers in the area to help direct traffic in the area.
